Colorful Funky Greeting Cards

Though the world is in a miserable state, I do create these colorful greeting cards for you to enjoy.

How am I inspired to create these glittering like greeting cards? From resting in nature and meditating with mantra and evoking the light within. Great Gratitude for this inspiration and having the tools and education to create them. I always loved color. I think they are a great way of expressing one`s inner emotion and may also support one in acknowledging them and creating something out of the energy. Like in my case there are images, stickers, fine art and those greeting cards that I create from this inspirational energy.

For example the phrase “Alles Tutti” comes from my time in Berlin. My mom was there for a visit and we were drinking fresh made carrot juice on a sunny day in Prenzlauer Berg. That`s when I heard the phrase “alles tutti” from people passing by and I loved it. My mom and I both had a laugh and later on I sent her a photo with the phrase “Alles Tutti”. It means, all is well, all is going fine in a humorous tone.

This card I was inspired by the buddhist practice of Rainbow Body. What I have been reflecting on was my spiritual sangha and friends. It is like at school when you ask someone you like to be your friend. So I think of this card as an offering to gift someone you enjoy being friends with, an acknowledgement of the practice you share with each other or the love for one another. Cherishing each others presence in one`s life.

It is funny how behind every Greeting card quote is a story. :-) This inspirational quote comes from my meditation teacher. She once shared in a teaching setting: “Keep it simple sweetheart!”. I guess it was referring to overcomplicating things in one`s life, so she blessed them with a symbolic KISS: Keep it simple sweetheart!
