As a visual artist I love to be inspired by those who have gone before me. One of the artists I really love is Joseph Beuys. His way of viewing art as an interactive process rather than producing an object is and was very influential to me on a subtle level. He very much shaped the phrase “Soziale Skulptur” - “Social Sculpture” in which he declares that every citizen inherently is an artist in the sense that we all are shaping the form of society right now, in this very moment. So every action we take and we dont take has an impact on creating something or not creating something.

I really love this approach of Beuys. It resonates to the way of perceiving my work as an artist and photographer. Working and interacting with what is present in this moment and enhancing inherent fruition is what I love to evoke. Being able to connect with others through art is the greatest gift to me.

He is also famous for his statement: “Jeder Mensch ist ein Künstler” - “Everybody ist an artist”

I created some Joseph Beuys stickers CHECK HERE - enjoy <3

Keep on creating the world you wish to live in! It is never too late <3
