B R I N G S O M E L I G H T // Flashback 2019 I was working at the #filmfestival#berlinale taking place in cold month of February in Berlin. It is a great joy to be bathing in the atmosphere of international filmmakers coming to the Berlinale Filmfestival to show their movies, often for the first time, in public. After the filmfestival some of them will be screened in the local cinemas but many of them wont so it is a good opportunity to grasp.
Especially the backstage area of the press is very buzzing as you can watch the live interviews of the filmmakers being held next doors. Enjoying your warm coffee while having your camera cleaned by Nikon or Canon depending on your equipment. :-) Having a chat here and there. That`s the best.
In the evening time the stars arrive one by one on with their limousines on the red carpets entering the cinema for the premiere of their films. I also was very lucky to be given some tickets for the premiere of #wolverine with the #filmcrew present including #hughjackman. He was just seated about 15 meters away from where I was , I could see him :-), and you could feel the excitement of watching Wolverine with many others in the room together at the same time. So valuable. Lucky stars. He is a very humble man. After the screening the main actors of the movie went up on stage and thanked everyone. Standing ovations. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🎥🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thankful for this experience.
